Lights2you Online Returns Policy

Lights2you understands the difficulty sometimes associated with choosing the right light for the right room. If you have a change of heart Lights2you can offer an Exchange, Credit or a Refund minus delivery and restocking fees. 

Returning an item will unfortunately incur some fees:

  • Delivery Fees
  • 30% Restocking Fee

Please note that if an item was sold with a free delivery it will still be deducted from your refund.

Lights2you reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 30% due to suppliers restocking fees along with additional shipping costs associated with returning and reshelving products.  

Products must be returned in “BRAND NEW” unopened and in unused condition, this means products must not be used or have been installed and returned in its original packaging.

Products deemed unsuitable by customers electrical contractor will still incur these fees. If you are not sure about purchasing a product for a specific location, please consult a professional to avoid any additional fees. 


  • Item can be returned within 14 days of purchase
  • Item must be unopened and unused

If these requirements are not met Lights2you reserves the right not to return item.

Items Excluded for Refund:

due to the nature of certain products they cannot be returned for change of mind refunds, these products include:

1. Clearance or Ex-Display items. 

2. LED Strip lights and aluminium profiles.

These products are custom made to lengths and cannot be uncut. 

3. Items that have been made to order. 

Items such as exteriors that require specific powder coating to order specifications.

Incorrect Item / Damaged on Arrival / Short Delivery:

We recommend all items picked up or received to be inspected immediately as we require notification with 48 hours if items are incorrect / damaged or missing from original order. Failing to notify Lights2you within the specified period then all gods shall be deemed to be in compliance with the order and free from any damages. There after Lights2you will take no responsibility of goods damaged.

If a product is Damaged, it must be reported within 48 hours of arrival. Lights2you will not cover any damaged products after this duration.

How to Return / Report Damaged Products:

  • Contact us through either Phone or Email, found on your Tax Invoice. 
  • Contact us from our Contact us Page.
Please Include your name, order number and details of your order and the products damaged/missing or wishing to be returned. 

If products are received damaged or missing and provided our Terms and Conditions are satisfied Lights2you will happily Exchange,Credit or Refund without any additional costs.
