Lighting Inspirations #101

Do you have one of those old oyster ceiling lights that take globes? Or even the old fluorescent tubes? The first thing you can do to improve your bedroom lighting is to change your old oyster to a new LED oyster. Not only are they more energy efficient and brighter, but they are maintenance free! No climbing on a chair to change globes or tubes! There is a such a large variety of styles in the new oysters, but my favourite ones are the ones with the flat faces, they look so clean and neat. Most of them are Tri-Colour now too, so you have the freedom to choose between warm white, cool white or daylight.
The next thing you can do to improve your bedroom lighting is upgrade your lighting to downlights. There are so many downlights on the market, so it’s important to do your research and make sure you are buying high-quality fittings because otherwise you can run into issues like yellowing downlight faces, low light output and short light lifespans. We have a large range of high-quality downlights on our website that will suit your needs, but if you get stuck, just give us a call or pop in and we’ll be more than happy to help you and answer any questions!
